Reed is fundamentally a chronicle of ideas. We write about new developments in science, technology, art, history, the humanities, and education. We also profile the individuals who are animated by these ideas--and who in turn are shaping the world in which we live.
From the philosophical implications of Nicaraguan sign-language to the neuroscience of memory, from the politics of torture to the moons of Saturn, Reed provides a front-row seat to the world's most pressing and profound intellectual debates. We also feature essays, letters, and news about ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ, alumni, professors, and students.
Our website is updated several times a week. Our print version is published four times a year by the Office of Public Affairs at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ and has a circulation of approximately 20,000. To subscribe, please send us an email at reed.magazine@reed.edu.
