Class standing

Students who have accumulated fewer than six units are considered first-year students. Those who have earned six or more units, but who have not yet declared a major, are sophomores. Juniors have earned 13 units or more and have officially declared a major. Seniors are those who have declared a major and have been certified as having passed the junior qualifying examination.
